The idea of teaching children can be intimidating. It may be something you have never considered but it is extremely rewarding and great fun. 

The Company

The Samurai Fitness Group is a small, family orientated, limited company based in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. It specialises in teaching kickboxing to children aged 4-16 years, in schools and public halls. It was incorporated in 2010 and since then it has attracted over 2,000 pupils and is growing rapidly.

The Role

Don’t worry if you don’t know anything about martial arts, you’ll receive all the training necessary. The successful candidate will become a Kickboxing Instructor teaching children aged 4-7, 7-11, 11-14 and 14-16 years in the districts of Beaconsfield, Great Missenden, High Wycombe, Maidenhead and Chalfont St Peter.

Candidates will be provided with training in The Samurai Fitness Group syllabus, first aid, child protection and health and safety. Once training is completed to a satisfactory standard, you will have the opportunity to become a full time Instructor with responsibility for your own classes.

There are opportunities for those employees that excel in their role to progress to Director level where they will be responsible for a section of The Samurai Fitness Group business in which they would like to specialise. 

The Hours

  • Core work hours of 8am to 9am and 3pm to 7pm Monday to Friday
  • Approximately 20 – 25 hours per week
  • Some weekend work required
